WIWW: Spring is for Skirts!

Spring is for skirts around here.  It is starting to warm up and I'm kind of thankful because I'm sick of wearing the same two pants every single day.  I have loads of skirts (with elastic waists) that I can wear so you might be able to see more outfit posts.  But, alas, I still wear the same 5 shirts.  Remix anyone?  I loved these outfits.  The colors were so vibrant even though you can't see them very good in the pics.  Sorry. :(

Monday Must Haves....PIns

Pinterest came to the rescue this past week.  Post to come soon but here are some of my favorite pins lately.  I actually am going to follow through with them soon because I went to JoAnn's and my other favorite fabric store over the weekend.  Lots of projects going on over in our house.  Better get started.  Here is what I plan on making:

An Easter tie for my little guy following this tutorial.

Someone sells this on Etsy but I think it would be easy to make.  But knowing my skills it will probably be useless  and my babies will wake up. Ha!

Two of these, please!  I'll be using this tutorial.

There ya have it.  Must make Monday.

Friday Plus-March 23rd

Here is our week in pictures.

I made these "raw" cookie dough balls from a recipe off of Pinterest.  Shocker I know!  They are really good.  Ingredients: almonds, pecans, oats, honey (I didn't have raw honey), cinnamon, vanilla, salt, and chocolate chips.  YUMMY!

This past week it hailed in AZ!  My son said, "Yeah, now Santa is going to come."

This is how you clean up when you can't bend down.  Sweep it up!

First lesson of the season.  I bought a Groupon for it because I'm not sure if lessons will happen in the summer with twins on the way.

Have a good weekend!

Obsessed with Cobalt Blue!

If you saw my post last Wednesday I told you how obsessed I was with cobalt blue.  Guess what?  It's worse!  I recently bought a cobalt blue skirt and I've been pinning things like crazy what to wear with it.  Here are some of my favorite pins on Pinterest.

Power of Massage

There is a sign at my gym of someone getting a massage and a quote with something to the effect of not forgetting this part of your workout.  Oh, I won't is what I think every. single. time. I walk by.  Well, Jason got me a membership to Massage Envy awhile ago and I love it.  Especially during this pregnancy.

My back is shot these days and so it totally helps having these massages once a month...even prenatal ones.  I found the best massage therapist that gets how tight my back is and surprisingly enough I get relief.  Last time he said that I was going to hate him because he decided to kill my IT band.  Seriously, I wanted to hit him and scream but I just winced in pain.  But that whole next week I could feel the difference.  Hardly any pain in the back!  It is amazing how connected the muscles in our bodies are!

Anyway, my fitness thought for the day is to not forget the massage as part of your workout.  It really helps your muscles elongate and it is a nice relaxant for you.  And I have to add, you know those charlie horse pains you get in your legs while you are pregnant at night?  Well, I haven't gotten any yet and I really am attributing my monthy massages to that.  So worth every penny right there because those leg cramps are KILLER!

Monday's Must Read

I finished yet another audio book and LOVED it!  I loved that the author was the narrator on the audio version.  It made it that much more real to me.  This book is the story of her being a Chinese mother in a Western culture.  This next picture is so fitting.  I highly recommend this book to everyone!
